Basketball Recap: Lanier Christian Academy Falls Short of Horizon Christian Academy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lanier Christian Academy can now relate to. They fell 35-23 to the Horizon Christian Academy Warriors on Thursday. The Lightning haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Lanier Christian Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Emma Flowers, who posted seven points and four steals, and Meav Fouts, who earned six points.

Lanier Christian Academy now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Horizon Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Lanier Christian Academy nor Horizon Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
