Calvary Chapel suffers third straight loss at home

Recap: Calvary Chapel Grizzlies vs. Hawthorne Cougars
The Calvary Chapel Grizzlies lost against the Hawthorne Cougars back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Calvary Chapel took a hard 67-53 fall against Hawthorne.
Calvary Chapel's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jaden Roemheld, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds. Roemheld has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Terrance Gammage, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds.
Calvary Chapel bumped their record down to 2-6 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Hawthorne, their win bumped their record up to 1-5.
Calvary Chapel won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Whitney at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. Hawthorne will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Acaciawood at 4:30 p.m. on December 5th.
