Volleyball Recap: Mobridge-Pollock Takes a Loss

Mobridge-Pollock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Ipswich, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Mobridge-Pollock has suffered against Ipswich since October 12, 2020.

While Mobridge-Pollock ultimately came up short, they really made Ipswich work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 26-24, 25-19.

Mobridge-Pollock's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Ipswich, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Mobridge-Pollock will challenge Roncalli at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ipswich, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hitchcock-Tulare at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
