Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Frankfort). Everything went their way against the Centralia Panthers on Monday as they made off with a 16-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Frankfort's third in a row) raised their record to 14-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Centralia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.

Looking ahead, Centralia will challenge Marysville on Friday. Frankfort will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' match: after the Panthers face off against Blue Valley, they'll take on Frankfort again on Monday.
