Basketball Recap: Harvest Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Harvest Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 57-20 loss at the hands of the Nazarene Christian Academy Lions. The matchup marked the Saints' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

They used a three-pronged attack on offense: Landry Verrette, RIchie O'Neal, and Connor Langford posted four points each.

Harvest Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harvest Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dallas Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026. The game will give the Saints their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Christ Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
