Basketball Recap: Hazelwood West Comes Up Short

Hazelwood West has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They had to suffer through an 87-25 loss at the hands of the Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hazelwood West's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 18-8. As for Incarnate Word Academy, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-2.

As of now, neither Hazelwood West nor Incarnate Word Academy have any future games scheduled.
