Baseball Recap: Garden City Takes a Loss

Garden City made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Stevenson, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cougars fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Cougars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Garden City's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Stevenson, they pushed their record up to 12-14-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Garden City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-3 win against Allen Park on the 10th. As for Stevenson, they have also already played their next match, a 9-1 loss against Novi on the 10th.
