Basketball Game Preview: Huntingdon Mustangs vs. Waverly Central Tigers

The Huntingdon Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Waverly Central Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Huntingdon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Waverly Central likes a good challenge.

Huntingdon is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering McKenzie just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost to the Rebels at home by a 74-60 margin.

Meanwhile, Waverly Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 60-52 to Perry County.

Huntingdon's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Waverly Central, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.

Huntingdon strolled past Waverly Central in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 69-55. The rematch might be a little tougher for Huntingdon since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
