Basketball Game Preview: North Linn Lynx vs. East Buchanan Buccaneers

North Linn has gone 10-0 against East Buchanan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The North Linn Lynx will look to defend their home court against the East Buchanan Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. North Linn knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully East Buchanan likes a good challenge.

North Linn will head into Friday's contest on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Central City on Friday. North Linn simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Central City 77-50. The Lynx have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for East Buchanan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They escaped with a win on Friday against Edgewood-Colesburg by the margin of a single free throw, 48-47. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Buccaneers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

North Linn's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for East Buchanan, their victory ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-13.

Everything came up roses for North Linn against East Buchanan when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 77-45 win. Will North Linn repeat their success, or does East Buchanan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
