Baseball Recap: Rockford East Comes Up Short

Rockford East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Harlem Huskies, falling 16-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-1 on Wednesday.

Rockford East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Harlem, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rockford East will square off against rival Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st. Meanwhile, Harlem is set to challenge their familiar foe Rockford Auburn at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
