Hancock waltzed into their match on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Solorio Sun Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hancock never let Solorio on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 27-25.

Hancock pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Solorio, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hancock will host Tilden at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Solorio, they will be playing at home against Brooks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
