Pinnacle Classical Academy lost to Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Eagles blew past the Gryphons 9-2. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Holden Austin was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Eli Stroud, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Casey Greene was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Pinnacle Classical Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
