If the Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks were riding high off their 77-55 takedown of Varsity Opponent on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Jordan Christian Prep received a tough blow on Monday as they fell 66-49 to IMG Academy.

Jordan Christian Prep's loss came despite strong showings from Diamant Blazi and Ilich Yacaman. Blazi scored 16 points, while Yacaman scored 12 points. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Dan Manoka, who scored seven points.

Jordan Christian Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for IMG Academy, they pushed their record up to 6-7 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jordan Christian Prep will take on Specially Fit Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for IMG Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tampa Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Tampa Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Saturday.
