Volleyball Recap: Trinity Catholic Wins Going Away Against Oak Hall + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Trinity Catholic had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the Oak Hall Eagles 3-0. The Celtics haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Trinity Catholic was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11, 25-14.

Addyson Avery paced Trinity Catholic's offense, picking up nine kills. Avery got some help from Margaret O'Farrell and her 26 assists. Finally, Avery was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

When it comes to explaining why Oak Hall lost, don't look at Haley Janes. Despite the final result, she had eight kills, four aces, and three digs. Janes has been hot, having posted six or more kills the last five times she's played. Kendylle Bishop also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Trinity Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Oak Hall, they moved to 14-12 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Trinity Catholic will be playing at home against Providence School at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Oak Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
