Basketball Recap: Brunswick Academy Comes Up Short

Brunswick Academy and Wakefield School squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Brunswick Academy had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 56-42 to the Wakefield School Fighting Owls.

Brunswick Academy's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Wakefield School, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

As for Wakefield School, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Fairfax Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Fairfax Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 68.5 points per game this season.
