Recap: Cumby Trojans vs. Sulphur Bluff Bears
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bonham, the Cumby Trojans were happy to have found some success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 39-21 victory over Sulphur Bluff. This was payback for Cumby, who suffered a 47-27 loss the last time these two teams met.
Cumby's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Sulphur Bluff, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
Cumby will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against North Hopkins at 1:40 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Sulphur Bluff, they will square off against Trenton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Trenton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
