Soccer Recap: Peebles Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Peebles was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 6-1 to the St. Joseph Central Flyers. Peebles were not able to make up for their loss to St. Joseph Central from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Peebles' goal came courtesy of Connor Gross, who's now up to 19 this season.

Peebles' defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for St. Joseph Central, they pushed their record up to 8-3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Peebles has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Northwest on the 1st. As for St. Joseph Central, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Lawrence County on the 1st.
