Baseball Game Preview: Aldine Mustangs vs. Eisenhower Eagles

For the second straight game, Aldine will face off against Eisenhower. The Mustangs will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Aldine will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

Aldine came out on top against Eisenhower on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run first inning. The Mustangs took their contest against the Eagles 5-2.

Isaiah Nunez was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March of 2025. Alberto Gonzalez was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Eisenhower has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season. As for Aldine, their victory bumped their record up to 18-5-3.

Eisenhower's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Aldine hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .343.
