Football Recap: San Diego Comes Up Short

San Diego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Castle Park Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Cavers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 194th, while the Trojans are ranked 38th).

LEILANI ROCHE was a one-woman wrecking crew For Castle Park. as she rushed for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 carries. ROCHE was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards.

San Diego's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

San Diego didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Logan Memorial Education Campus on the 19th. As for Castle Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 26-0 victory against Canyon Hills on the 20th.
