Football Game Preview: Albia Blue Demons vs. Centerville Big Reds/Redettes

The Albia Blue Demons will take on the Centerville Big Reds/Redettes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Albia's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Prairie City-Monroe on Friday. They were dealt a 54-0 defeat at the hands of the Mustangs. The Blue Demons haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Centerville strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 34-13 margin over South Tama County. Considering the Big Reds/Redettes have won three contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Albia's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Centerville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Albia was able to grind out a solid win over Centerville in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, winning 13-6. Do the Blue Demons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Big Reds/Redettes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
