It was a good run, but Pickens unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Kell Longhorns.

Edy Wyngaard paced Pickens' offense, picking up seven kills. Wyngaard got some help from Sophia Derstine and her ten assists. Annabelle Krumins controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Pickens' defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Kell, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Pickens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Gordon Central on the 16th. As for Kell, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Sonoraville on the 16th.
