It was a good run, but Pickens unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kell Longhorns.

Edy Wyngaard paced Pickens' offense, picking up seven kills. Wyngaard got some help from Sophia Derstine and her ten assists. Annabelle Krumins controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Pickens' loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Kell, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Pickens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Gordon Central on the 16th. As for Kell, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Sonoraville on the 16th.
