Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cory-Rawson). They really took it to the Vanlue Wildcats for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-28 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Fighting Hornets have posted since January 4, 2024.

Vanlue's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adrienne Phillips, who posted eight points in addition to 11 rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Phillips a new career-high in boards. Alison Brooks was another key player, putting up six points and seven rebounds.

Cory-Rawson's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9. As for Vanlue, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.
