Xavier came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Milwaukee Academy of Science, sneaking past 69-67.

Xavier's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Milwaukee Academy of Science, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8.
