Clifton Central hasn't had much luck against Peotone recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Clifton Central Comets will head out to take on the Peotone Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Peotone took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Clifton Central, who comes in off a win.

Clifton Central took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They put the hurt on Beecher with a sharp 58-34 win. The Comets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Peotone ended up a good deal behind Reed-Custer on Monday and lost 34-15. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Comets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Clifton Central is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 19 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.1 points per game. As for Peotone, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-19.
