Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakeview Academy). They came out on top against the Loganville Christian Academy Lions by a score of 76-65 on Thursday. Given Lakeview Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Loganville Christian Academy is ranked 450th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lakeview Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Loganville Christian Academy, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeview Academy will face off against Lanier Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
