Soccer Game Preview: Shepherd vs. Standish-Sterling

For the second straight game, Shepherd will face off against Standish-Sterling. The Bluejays will head out to take on the Panthers on Wednesday. Shepherd has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight losses, while Standish-Sterling will come in with six straight wins.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Shepherd's offense. They came up short against Standish-Sterling on Thursday, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Shepherd can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 360th, while Standish-Sterling are ranked 105th).

Standish-Sterling pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Shepherd, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13-3.
