Basketball Recap: St. Augustine Takes a Loss

St. Augustine lost against Incarnate Word Academy back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights took a hard 50-35 fall against the Angels.

Incarnate Word Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Camryn Brown out in front who went 7-for-17 on her way to 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Cory, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards.

St. Augustine's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Incarnate Word Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

St. Augustine didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-24 defeat against Manor New Tech on the 22nd. Incarnate Word Academy has also already played their next contest (against Tournament Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
