The Laquey Hornets will face off against the Central Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Laquey has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 25.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Laquey and Plato had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Hornets lost 9-2 to the Eagles on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Central never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against Waynesville as they made off with a 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Brody Holland made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Central is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-13 otherwise. Holland was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Barrett Burns was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.
