Kearsarge took a four-goal loss the last time they faced off against Gilford, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Golden Eagles 2-1. That's two games straight that Kearsarge have won by just one goal.

Kearsarge's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three contests. As for Gilford, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 5-2-1 record.
