Softball Recap: Santa Rosa Academy Rangers vs. Temecula Prep Patriots        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, Santa Rosa Academy gave their fans yet another huge  win on Monday. Everything went their way against the Temecula Prep Patriots as the Santa Rosa Academy Rangers made off with  a  21-3 victory. Winning may never get old, but Santa Rosa Academy sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
  Madeleine Hillyer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing five innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   three  hits. Hillyer was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news, Santa Rosa Academy got a  massive  performance out of  Paloma Pedini, who  scored four  runs and  stole three bases while going 4-for-4.  Aliza Dunn was another key contributor,  scoring four  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 On Temecula Prep's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Lilliana Celiceo, who  went 2-for-3 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI. Celiceo is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last seven games she's  played.
 Santa Rosa Academy's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-3. As for Temecula Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.
 Santa Rosa Academy will be playing at home against San Jacinto Valley Academy at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Santa Rosa Academy knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy  run totals in its past seven contests -- so hopefully San Jacinto Valley Academy likes a good challenge. As for Temecula Prep, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Desert Christian Academy at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Desert Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.7  runs per game  this season.
