Bonita had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They blew past the Glendora Tartans 6-0. The result was nothing new for the Bearcats, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Daniel Nageer tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Bonita let Joaquin Covarrubias and Josh Angely run wild. Covarrubias went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI, while Angely went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Landen Lambert, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Bonita's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Glendora, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9.

Bonita will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tartans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
