Skidmore-Tynan had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 43-28 victory over Kenedy on Friday. The win was just what Skidmore-Tynan needed coming off of a 46-14 loss in their prior game.
Kolton Lopez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 301 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.
Meanwhile, Ganado had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 27-26 photo finish over Three Rivers.
Ganado's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryce Ullman, who threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Landon Hicks, who picked up 53 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Skidmore-Tynan was taken down by Ganado 70-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2022.
