The Iola Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Milano Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Meanwhile, while Milano put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Moody. Milano breezed by Moody on the road to the tune of 40-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Milano can attribute much of their success to Gerald Dykes, who rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, and Anthony Valadez, who rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown. Jackson Reyes did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 90 receiving yards.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Milano was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 233 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2023.
Milano's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Reyes.
Iola now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Milano, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Everything came up roses for Iola against Milano in their previous meeting back in October of 2023 as the team secured a 40-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Iola since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
