Manchester Memorial faced Timberlane in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Crusaders blew past the Owls 40-12. The victory was just business as usual for the Crusaders, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

A big part of Manchester Memorial's win came down to the chemistry between Joel Gomez and his top target Jacob Schuff. Gomez picked up 48 receiving yards and one TD while Schuff rushed for 77 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Manchester Memorial's run defense was locked in: Timberlane could only muster -0.1 yards per carry. The Crusaders didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 13.

Manchester Memorial didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Lucas Brown and Schuff.

Manchester Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Timberlane, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
