Volleyball Recap: St. Patrick Victorious

After losing to Pendleton County the last time they met, St. Patrick decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Saints had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 2-1 on Saturday.

St. Patrick was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (69-63), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-22, 25-22.

The victory got St. Patrick back to even at 2-2. As for Pendleton County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Patrick will head out to take on Nicholas County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pendleton County, they will face off against Lloyd Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
