Baseball Recap: Keller Central Comes Up Short

Keller Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Byron Nelson Bobcat, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chargers of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Keller Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-17-1. As for Byron Nelson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-8-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Keller Central beat the Bobcat by a score of 4-3 on Friday.
