Soccer Recap: Glendora Comes Up Short

Glendora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 4-2 to the Ayala Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Tartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 468th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 40th).

Glendora's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Ayala, they pushed their record up to 13-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glendora has already played their next match (against Diamond Bar), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ayala is taking a road trip to face off against Walnut at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Walnut is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.
