Basketball Game Preview: Corbett Cardinals vs. Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates

Corbett is a perfect 5-0 against Neah-Kah-Nie since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Corbett Cardinals will welcome the Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates at 6:00 p.m. Corbett will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Corbett is returning to their home court after beating Yamhill-Carlton on theirs, despite the fact Yamhill-Carlton has dominated at home this season. Corbett walked away with a 56-48 win over Yamhill-Carlton on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Neah-Kah-Nie beat Rainier 45-33 on Tuesday.

Corbett's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points over those games. As for Neah-Kah-Nie, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-10.

Corbett was able to grind out a solid victory over Neah-Kah-Nie in their previous matchup back in January, winning 40-32. Does Corbett have another victory up their sleeve, or will Neah-Kah-Nie turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
