Baseball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Forest Hill's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Forest Hill unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Forest Hill saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Moreno, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. The dominant performance gave Moreno a new career-high in hits.

Forest Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forest Hill will face off against Royal Palm Beach at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Royal Palm Beach has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something Forest Hill will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, they will challenge Boca Raton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
