Volleyball Recap: Whitney Victorious

Whitney's tournament run continued when they took on Soquel on Saturday. Whitney came out on top against Soquel by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Whitney found their leader in sophomore Balin Sillence-Dhamrait, who had three digs and two aces. What's more, Sillence-Dhamrait racked up 13 assists, the most he's had over his last three games. Martin Lim also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.

Whitney's win bumped their record up to 10-16. As for Soquel, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Whitney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Granite Bay on the 29th. As for Soquel, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Los Gatos at 6:00 p.m.
