Neither the Northern Guilford Nighthawks nor the Watauga Pioneers could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. Even though they lost, Northern Guilford's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 3.4 goals per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Northern Guilford's draw gives them a new season record of 2-3-2. Meanwhile, Watauga's record is now 4-2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northern Guilford will head out to face off against East Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Watauga, they will venture away from home to square off against Forbush at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
