Volleyball Recap: Cedartown Takes a Loss

Cedartown lost against Pepperell on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Dragons. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Cedartown was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23.

Bella Rosser paced Cedartown's offense, picking up three kills. Rosser got some help from Kinleigh Camp and her two assists. Chloe Dingler controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Cedartown's loss dropped their record down to 9-24. As for Pepperell, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Cedartown has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Alexander on the 20th. As for Pepperell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Rockmart on the 20th.
