Volleyball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest managed to slip by Parkway Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Colts on Tuesday. The Lions' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Parkway Central scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-17.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Parkway Central, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest will venture away from home to square off against Pattonville at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parkway Central, they will square off against Fort Zumwalt South at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
