Basketball Recap: Sterling Heights Stevenson Takes a Loss

Sterling Heights Stevenson lost against Chippewa Valley back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans had to suffer through a 64-22 loss at the hands of the Chippewa Valley Big Reds. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 517th, while the Big Reds are ranked 93rd).

This is the second loss in a row for Sterling Heights Stevenson and nudges their season record down to 3-14. As for Chippewa Valley, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-4.

We've got a battle between Titans coming up. As for Chippewa Valley, they will face off against South Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
