Soccer Game Preview: Socastee vs. St. James

The Socastee Braves will square off against the St. James Sharks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Socastee's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Socastee fell victim to Conway and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, St. James kept a clean sheet against North Myrtle Beach on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Chiefs 1-0. The victory continues a trend for St. James in their matchups with North Myrtle Beach: they've now won five in a row.

St. James' one-goal win came courtesy of Aiden Crawford, who's now up to three this season.

St. James' win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Socastee, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
