Centaurus had already won four in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past the Vista PEAK Prep Bison 3-0. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Centaurus never let Vista PEAK Prep on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 25-20.

Violet Morrandez paced Centaurus' offense, picking up seven kills. Morrandez got some help from Mila Weinstein and her 14 assists. Finally, Morrandez was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Centaurus' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Vista PEAK Prep, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centaurus will take on Pomona at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they will head out to square off against Mountain Range at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
