Soccer Game Preview: West Memphis vs. Searcy

West Memphis is 0-10 against Searcy since May of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Blue Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. West Memphis' last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

West Memphis took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Nettleton, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Blue Devils narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Raiders 3-2.

Meanwhile, Searcy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They never let the Pioneers get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Considering Searcy have won 11 matches by more than four goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

West Memphis' victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-7-1 and their overall record up to 2-9-1. As for Searcy, their win bumped their record up to 12-2-1.
