Baseball Recap: Heber Springs Takes a Loss

Heber Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 6-2 to the Salem Greyhounds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-3 last Tuesday.

Heber Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Salem, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Heber Springs has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 defeat against Highland on the 28th. As for Salem, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Norfork on the 27th.
