Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Lily Spease stepped things up a notch to give Spanish Springs the 'W'. Spease scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Coming up, Spease and Spanish Springs will be taking part in a tournament against Alhambra at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Alhambra will enter the matchup having just beaten Las Lomas, so Spanish Springs will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
